“Everyone can learn more about mental health!”

This was a comment from a Grade 10 student who participated in an SOS Community Helpers Program recently. And they are 100% correct.

We can all learn more about mental health — the different ways people are struggling and its larger impact on the community. Mental health challenges don’t discriminate by gender, race, culture or religion. We have all experienced moments in life that have challenged us. To be supported through those moments isn’t a sign of weakness, but rather one of strength.

In our continued effort to expand the conversation about mental health, we encourage you to forward this newsletter to at least two people. Whether it’s a colleague, friend or loved one, the more we can share important resources and insights about mental health in our community, the stronger we’ll be together.
