Walking to Break the Silence around mental healthIt’s Breaking the Silence week at Some Other Solutions! We are extremely proud to be a partner with this mental health movement for the second year in a row. One in five people are affected by mental illness in Canada, which means that each and every one of us is impacted. The last year and a half has demonstrated more than ever the importance of keeping mental health as part of the conversation. Over the course of this week, we are encouraging everyone to walk and talk with their friends, families and loved ones about mental health, and sign up to participate in some of the virtual sessions. Your free registration not only gives you access to all of these sessions, but your registration directly supports Some Other Solutions. I also want to thank my entire team and Board for their support and dedication as we transition back into the office. With this shift, we are seeing an increase in demand for in-person counselling, which we are pleased to be able to support. Our summer programs are well underway and we have developed new workshop opportunities for workplaces and groups, which you can read about below.
