It’s time to get outside

We know…we know. The weather is…inconsistent. But it’s been a long winter and our mental health is feeling it. And if that’s how we’re feeling, imagine how the kids are doing?

We read an article recently that says the average child in North America spends 7 hours a day (or more!) in front of a screen and only 4 to 7 minutes a day outside.

You will find all of this and more at this year's Spring Trade Show happening May 5-7 at MacDonald Island Park.

The SOS team will be volunteering at the United Way's booth this year! Members of our Child and Youth department will be set up at the booth handing out information on our available resources along with some cool swag.

We are so grateful to the United Way of Fort McMurray and Wood Buffalo for funding the Child and Youth services at SOS.
